CASE STUDY · ECOMMERCE
Hofgarten — an online store that converts
A sample build for a clean, trustworthy shop where the product does the selling and checkout gets out of the way.
The brief we set ourselves
A store lives or dies on two things: does it make the product look worth buying, and does checkout get out of the way.
What we built
A curated storefront with a reassurance bar (free EU shipping, 30-day returns, responsibly made, secure checkout), a favourites grid, and a first-order incentive. Product and trust do the selling; the path to buy stays short.
Key decisions
- Reassurance above the fold — shipping, returns, security
- A single incentive instead of banner clutter
- Fast, mobile-first product grid
- Short path from browse to buy
What this shows
For a retailer, a build like this is the difference between a catalogue and a shop that converts.
